TARATA - LEMON WOOD -Quick growing. Densely foliaged species is pyramidial shape when young, and grows tall with smooth grey bark. Shiny dark green oval leaves have a slightly wavy edge and citrus aroma when crushed.  Terminal clusters of small star shaped yellow flower with a honey like perfume appear in spring,also nectar producing from September - December.  Clusters of oval black fruit follow the flowers which are suitable for the birds.  Tolerant of frost and dryish conditions.  Useful as a hedge, erosion control.5m Height x 4m wide.
