Shiny bright green leaves, upright sprays of sweetly scented white flowers.Hedging. 

Handsome evergreen which is commonly grown as a hedge with leaves upto 15cm long, in mid to late spring it bears upright sprays of small sweetly scented white flowers which are followed by red berries that ripen to black in the autumn. One of the toughest evergreen hedges, will grow in the shade or open. Frost hardy. Height upto 12m width 2m.
